Annual Events
A Year of Connection, Creativity, and Continuing Education
Every year, ACC brings together counselors, educators, and students who believe creativity belongs in the counseling room. From our flagship conference to community gatherings and continuing education, our annual events are where this community comes to life.
ANNUAL EVENT
World Creativity and Innovation Day
April 21 — A Global Celebration of Creative Thinking
World Creativity and Innovation Day, recognized each April 21, celebrates the role creativity plays in problem-solving and human connection — values at the core of everything ACC does. It's a fitting reminder of why this community exists, and a natural moment each year to spotlight the creative approaches our members bring to the counseling profession.
ANNUAL EVENT
ACC Annual Conference Online & In-Person
Our Flagship Event for Creative, Relational Counseling
Each year, ACC hosts a conference for counselors, counselor educators, and students exploring creative, diverse, and relational approaches to mental health care — held online or in person depending on the year. The conference includes keynote sessions, pre-conference workshops, and opportunities to connect with colleagues who think about counseling the way you do.
The conference is also where ACC recognizes its Emerging Leaders, presents its Annual Awards, and awards Research Grants to members advancing the field.

Thank You to Our Volunteers
Annual Events Wouldn't Happen Without Them
None of this happens without the co-chairs and committee members who plan, organize, and run ACC's events year after year. Thank you for the time and care you put into making this community's gatherings possible.
